This dynamic Irish folk band consisting of fiddle, vocals, guitar and drums formed in the Fall of '23 with a premiere performance at the Uptown Snug in Marion. Marita & the Lads have been blazing trails in the Cedar Rapids area ever since.
What a year! Our 2025 St. Patrick’s Day show at The Olympic Theatre sold out, and we were thrilled to be invited to perform at the Iowa Irish Fest — an amazing experience celebrating Irish tradition and joy.
We are passionate about delivering a unique style of energetic Irish music to the Cedar Rapids area to create community, joy, and elevate Irish history and culture.
